I received his complete payment on the 9th of June. We were waiting on him to get the funds into his account. The number he gave me to track with wasn't a valid number, took him a bit to get me one that the post office website actually recognized (didn't recognize it at all). As soon as I saw it was valid i went to the post office. When I went to ship the package the zip code was incorrect. I sent him an email for a valid zipcode and had to make another trip to the post office.

Based on that, I can't see why certain individuals are blaming you for the delays in your shipping your end. Not that it's relevant anyway, Ryan Posey had already shipped you an empty box. The fraud here was his.
 
The evidence seems quite clear that Ryan Posey is a shaddy individual. Wrong tracking number for a box that is empty. Wrong address. Tries to blame his shadiness on the OP. Tries to distract his shadiness with a whole bunk argument about prices. I don't see how anyone can defend this guy with the evidence we have. The knives should be returned to the original owners. Money refunded. And Ryan Posey banned once the OP is made whole.
 
It is insane to me that this scumbag Ryan Poser is actually acting like he wasn't a thousand percent in the wrong. Shipped a day late? Hey, life happens. YOU MAILED THE GUY AN EMPTY BOX. You PURPOSELY misled the OP. And on top of that, had the gall to include some cutesy little note like it's all good. When he understandably flipped out, you fed him some pure wet vomit garbage story that basically can be summed up as your feelings count and his don't. Deplorable, and I sincerely hope you get banned because we don't need scamtastic scumbags like you in this community.
 
This Ryan guy really needs to grow up and man up and make this right...............

Just wanted to update those concerned; my package intercept worked. I didn't announce it in here earlier just in case usps dropped the ball.

That is fantastic!! Well done. I would like to thank you for this thread. I know it is scary putting your name on the line as these things can get taken in unknown ways. You did the right thing not only for this deal but for this community as a whole. As this thread progressed, it looks more and more like you did everything right. Like I said, you are good in my book.

I'm not keeping any portion of his money; i'll chalk that up to a lesson learned. From now on, in my ad, the other guy ships first for trades.
 
I agree with LW. A trade is a risk that both parties are taking and accepting. Unless they have low or poor feedback, my opinion is that they should cross ship. But that's just me.
 
Well this sucks...I sent him a knife + cash a couple days before this thread started for that exact same bowie.
