I like them and I feel it made an improvement. It feels and sounds a little more dense on lockup if that makes sense?

I like to replace stock bearings with skiff bearings (hence the extras I had on hand). The nice thing is this size of Skiffs fits a lot of knives like my Spyderco Smock, Prince customs Protean, Protech Malibu, Mordax etc...

The design isn’t necessarily to make knives smoother and actions better (he says on his website), but to provide more stability and solidity due to the extra bearings and surface area.

It definitely is smoother than when I got it, but in addition to the Skiffs, I also pulled apart cleaned (wasn’t dirty at all), oiled, and greased the detent.

Imo they won't make it smoother... But they do have the advantage of more support for the blade tang so more lateral support and will prevent over tightening

Yep detent greasing is key!

I actually used blue threadlocker on them before they went out but most have been some oil that prevented it from sticking... If it continues to back out you will have to degrease then apply
