Progress report on BF 2012 knife!

Looks like we're almost ready for assembly! Just need to see the handle scales next. Can't wait.:D:D:D
 
I was lucky enough to visit GEC last week, and hold the setup knife, fitted with partially completed blades! It's gonna be a great knife! The size is just right, as are the blades in it!

If you haven't already, check out the bone! Color and jigging look fantastic in my opinion.

Holy cow, it gets better and better. The colour in the knife description thread was a bit too light for my taste, but this is just about perfect.
 
I thought we were getting that real light tea color :thumbdn:.

If these photos show the final tint, well, just color me pleasantly surprised! :thumbup:
 
I heard they are getting the boxes ready for packing!! We are getting real close!!
That bone is gonna be killer!!

I just went and ordered another one!!
 
Speakin' of killer, you guys are killin' me with the WIP pics, I can't take it, maybe I should plan a road trip up there and pick it up before they ship. ;)
 
They are starting to assemble the knives now according to their website. The scales do seem to be a little lighter than the above post #89. There appear to be some finished knives now and they look lighter. I like this knife!

It is really nice of GEC to post the pictures and the updates. I would imagine they read a lot of the comments here.

Those Ben Hogans look nice too! Maybe I need another.
