Progress report on BF 2012 knife!

That is looking awesome. makes me want one. :) Can't wait to see the photos as members get them in hand.

To repeat what I said earlier in the "Stickied" thread: What a beauty! It looks like it was definitely worth the wait and all the challenges the 2012 Traditional Folder Team went thru to bring it to us (Thanks!!)

ooooohhhhhh aaaaahhhhhh

I haven't been around here as much as normal lately. This is a nice surprise to come back to. It's a good thing I was smart enough to order one right after they went up for sale, since a somewhat unplanned bathroom remodel and some truck repairs have put a large dent in my knife fund. It would have been a real shame to miss out on this beauty!

Kudos to all involved in the crafting of the finest BFC traditional folder yet!

That's gonna be one happy day when these show up in the box!.... :D

very nice knife:thumbup:

the wharnie on it is very reminiscent of the ag russell jack (imo)

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing!

Just looking at the pics again, I am impressed by the length of blade GEC has packed into that handle, very nice.

What strikes me most about these knives is just how consistent the bone is as far as color:thumbup:

I think it is apparent that GEC puts a lot of effort into selecting and preparing the bone, even before it is dyed, as well as matching handles and dye lots. They go the extra mile. I am sure it costs them money too!

The homepage coming queen bares all in yet another prestigious GEC Illustrated cover shot.
