Here is my last post... Lin is building an army of knife wielding Chinese patriots that are preparing JUST IN CASE Godzilla swims across from Japan, and invades Hong Kong.

Just as speculative, and just as plausible as MANY posts here.

From here on I will just read, and hope the members will ask the question I would like to see answered.

I could care less what country people are from.. You buy for someone else? Cool- when it get's to the CONUS address you specify, that ends my obligation as the seller. What happens to it after, that's on you. That's my piece of mind.

For the part of the quote in bold, wouldn't paypal still uphold the buyer's end if he makes a claim, even though it might be agreed to in the sale?

I would hope so, but I am far from an expert at paypal paying out anything. Having shipped all over the world, I haven't had any issues yet..
Except for this Chris Reeve Inyoni coming from the UK- That is about 2 weeks late. NooOOOoooOOOooo!!

Gentelemen, I have finally made it through all the pages of this epic (length, not content) thread. Never have I seen a better example of unintended consequences. Zombie should reflect on this.

Oh my goodness! :eek: Sorry for the delay in getting back. Decided to continue hunting today, and left the house at 4:30am this morning, so haven't been able to check in. :oops:

Where to begin? o_O Sorry, but I'm not going to try and cover everything that's transpired in the past ~30 hours, so I'll just say this:

bhyde is correct, and I really didn't start this thread because I was slighted by LIN due to missing out on a sale, etc. It was purely as a warning about the proxy address thing, especially after hearing a number of people shipping to him w/o knowing about the proxy. Yeah, maybe it bothers me to see all those great knives going to China and not coming back, and maybe I shouldn't have even mentioned it, but I'm entitled to feel that way and I'm not perfect. :p It's just an opinion, and we all know what they say about those. We ALL have them! ;)

Maybe if LIN would have chimed back in to let us know what happens to the knives once in China, I wouldn't feel that way. It would be kind of cool to find out that maybe he's running some kind of an underground market for top-of-the line cutlery in the face of Communist rule, like was mentioned. :cool: But alas, he didn't, so we'll probably never really know. :( Oh well.

With that, I think this is a good place to lock this down. Try not to take this all too seriously. :thumbsup:
