Photos Pure Aesthetics!

Alan, from a Purely Aesthetic point of view I'd have to say the Washington Jack... on second thought, the Tidioute... no wait the Washington Jack for sure this time, yeah that's it the Washington Jack... or the Zulu... no, no definitely the Washington Jack... Can you give me a few days to think about it? :)
How 'bout you Alan? If you had to choose between those three for visual appeal only which one would you select?
OH no, you can't turn the question around on me. I did the same with yours as you just did. The Jack, no the 73, maybe the Zulu.......lol. I guess that's why we own so many different knives. We're too fickle.

Lol, I think you're right Alan. I have a bunch of knives cuz I like a bunch of knives. But, if I were to choose one of the three, the Washington Jack has that old timey look and feel down so well that it would be my first choice, but just barely.:) Have a good day my friend.

Finally I give the #3 spot to Buck Knives and their 100 series of fixed blades. The straight forward, streamlined style screams 1950's in the same way a Dreyfus streamlined steam locomotive screams 1930's - smooth, elegant, and functional. Buck 100 series represent the pinnacle of mass produced American Industrial design - blending well built, efficiently produced items that still have style. OH

Nice collection OH. Is that ivory on the lower left?

Thanks Bug! No, it was one of the discontinued Bass Pro Shop SFO Buck 100 series with smooth bone handles. I think there were four Buck models in the BPS series (119, 105, 102, and perhaps a 103). This is the only one I bought and I gave it to a friend a few years ago. OH

Yes it does. They are discontinued, but a few remain in stock here and there; saw another 105 at the BPS in Cary about three weeks ago. I almost bought it but the white just sticks out too much - my entire Buck 100 series collection is black phenolic (well, one stag). OH
