Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to post. However, you still do not meet the 25 post requirement, as you only have 12 in this section as of this very moment. So, 25 or 50 is really potato...well, you know the rest.

As you can see above, right now, Gunstock Jack has sold through the allotted number of BF Knives, and there may be longtime participating members who wanted one, haven't seen this thread yet, and will be out of luck. So, that's why I've been reviewing folks who don't have much of a post history.
 
I think I'm missing something. Is there a way to add code before the shopping cart? Is says out of stock and will not let me add. I have been ordering a knife for myself and my son for many years. Hope I still get a chance.

I know 24 hours is slow for a regular GEC drop, but the Forum Knives used to be reserved in advance, giving members a few weeks to sign up.

Wow. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. I only placed my order a couple of hours ago. May have been one of the last knives available.

It's crazy that the lolly scramble has overtaken even the annual forum knife.

Do i need to provide you someway with my transaction number? I put my handle in the "comments" section but i guess it never posted, as others are finding.

The original rules did not state that, you can go find the thread. I explained how I came about the error. I have 70 posts on blade forums... None in the buying and selling which were the original requirments. Had I known it was 50 in this sub forum I would have taken posting in the manner which you are "contributing" several months ago.

Can't believe that they lasted as long as they did. I was figuring one or two hours, max.

This was only a minor league lolly scramble. Head over to the Carothers Performance Knives subforum sometime. About a week and a half ago, they offered 50 knives for sale at two and half times the price of these knives. And they all sold out in less than one minute. Not days or hours or even minutes. Seconds. Knife knuts are . . . nuts.

Quiet Quiet is this turning into a red scare or witch hunt? Some of the names you called out I recognize. I don’t know how often they post though and I have spent time in the traditional purchasing area, so maybe it’s just from there but the majority of my time is here so after you make your list maybe check it twice so people aren’t removed that qualify. I’m not advocating for anyone and don’t appreciate all the silly posts to get post counts up when there was a date put in place anyway to prevent this.

Wow Wasn't online yesterday because of a bad bad headache. While i don't post much, i usually read everyday. Was hoping this would be my first GEC knife of this year. Can't ever seem to snag one at a normal price. Figured this one would be a for sure. great knife at a normal price. But the headache has now gone from my head to the fact they are sold out and i don't get one. Guess that is why i gave up trying. With 300 plus GEC's in my safe, i'm sure i can find one to eliminate the pain of losing out on this one. better yet, just keep buying Boker's i guess. No lolly scramble and a fine knife, to boot. Hope those who deserved one, got one in time. Hope the flippers sit on them.

I invite you to review the names I've responded to in this thread. None of them meet the post criteria. Also, your comment of "I have spent time in the traditional purchasing area" speaks exactly to something Charlie specifically called out in his rules, which is that they should have posts here on the Porch, not on the Exchange. As far as I can see, I've not called anyone out who hasn't failed to meet the stated criteria. Understand, I have no malice here, and I'm not calling anyone any names. It's simple numbers. Either you got 'em, or you don't. And if you don't, then you shouldn't order a Bladeforums Knife, as that knife should go to a regular Bladeforums community member who maybe hasn't signed in since yesterday*.



* Remember, these knives were posted up for sale yesterday, and they're already gone.

Edit: to clarify I checked just before you posted this and they were in the purchasing thread, and I know that doesn’t count. I did know you could check and see the post counts like that so was just suggesting there be more caution but now I know you can see where people are posting without actually going through each post.
