... And a post quality filter, and one that runs user names against flippers on eBay. It's all very simple.
It would be neat if a another BF member could set something like that up but it seems like alot of variables to account for.

Didn't we reach out to Arthur Wright & Son a couple years back? Maybe we could try reaching out again for next year.
I put some feelers out, but it was a pipe-dream, and the Powers That Be here rejected an overseas manufacturer at the time. My experience of that firm is that, no matter how much you pay them, and irrespective of what they promise, 25% of the knives will have to be returned to them as they're not up to snuff. Their samples won't be representative, their descriptions of materials inaccurate, they'll change their prices at the last minute, won't respect delivery dates, and they'd copy the pattern, and sell it to anyone who wants it  We'd be foolish to waste our time with them, as I was

Your post count in The Traditional Forum now stands at 15. Incidentally, your use of the term "snitchposts" shows us all why you're really here.

You seem not to get it: you didn't meet either criteria, Charlie's OR Barry's. So, I'm not sure why you keep talking about this situation. You were never in compliance, simple as that.
The “new” guys keep posting. It’s pretty obvious too. But they still don’t get it…

Sorry it was a joke. I saw a suggestion in another post here that low post counts somehow relate to the propensity to flipping. It ridiculous.

I'm here because I like pocket knives. Surely you can easily sort though my post history and see! Alright guys I'm logging off for today (probably). Ive been a member of forums long enough to know when the thousand poster club dogpiles it's over. I'll continue to participate my way, and Quiet can continue posting his way. Thanks for the time everyone- I'll bet we'll all remember who I am going forward!

The post I'm referencing is the OG one here makes no mention of this forums 50 post count. I fit those original requirements, and posted in that thread, and didn't look close enough about the new ones today before I clicked order:

I didn't realize anything changed, that quantities were super limited, or that it wasn't going to based upon people who posted in that thread. I assumed quantities would be on par with that threads quantity count, and everyone would get their knives. Anyone who thinks I shouldn't get one can always email gunstock jack knives with my forum name. Although I'm sure someone is already on it.

I don’t want to disrespect the people who are making the forum knife possible at all for they are working hard but I can’t help but to feel like the whole ordering process and who gets to get one thing could have been arranged better..?

The edc manchildren are leaving me a sour taste about all of this. I don’t know if I want to have the knife even if I could. This is why we can’t have nice things I guess.

Perhaps next year, if we have a BF knife, anyone ordering the Annual Knife must have a membership even if it's a Basic Membership at the time of ordering. I know, I know we have several members that don't have a paid membership that post regularly but it would eliminate all these yahoos coming in only at the BF annual knife ordering time and screwing things up. Maybe it's just me but $10.00 a year for a Basic Membership isn't a hardship - even a monetary one.
