Whoops, looks like I missed the boat on one of these. (Forgot to check in on the forums yesterday and missed the ordering thread) Oh well, can’t wait to see the pictures you guys take when they finally arrive. (Congrats all!)
 
With all the angst going on here I'm going to start selling Tums and Rolaids on the Exchange! Oh, and finger pads for the "zillion three word posts in one day" shysters! ;) 😁 😁

So here's a test for next years knife to weed out the non-contributors, and it's to be given as a question on the purchasing page with the answer typed in as the discount code:

[What key has Charlie likely worn out several times on his keyboard?]

That should work, right?😊😊

Congrats on a great knife this year folks! Sat this one out as I've got to try to stay focused on buying knife parts rather than knives and I get a lot more enjoyment out of creating 'em. Usually. LOL!

You should reach out to Barry. I have a feeling there will be a number of orders that he cancels because they don't meet the criteria or ordered more than one knife. There's a good chance, I'd wager, that you could still get one if you were part of the original thread that solicited desired orders.

My experience of that firm is that, no matter how much you pay them, and irrespective of what they promise, 25% of the knives will have to be returned to them as they're not up to snuff. Their samples won't be representative, their descriptions of materials inaccurate, they'll change their prices at the last minute, won't respect delivery dates, and they'd copy the pattern, and sell it to anyone who wants it :rolleyes: We'd be foolish to waste our time with them, as I was :thumbsup:

Aw that's unfortunate. Well with the quantity we ordered this year we're about at the minium to order from CASE knives. 🤔
Not to start discuss next year before this years even gets shipped 😆 Just the musings of someone running on to little sleep
 
My fingers are crossed that I'm not a day late checking the Traditional Forum when the Canadian knives are posted for sale.

I could almost guarantee that should a Case knife be proposed and even approved for a forum knife, there's apt to be close to a 50% decrease in prospective buyers compared to this year. With that said, we most certainly wouldn't meet Case's criteria.

If we were trying to one-up the craziness and squirming of this year's forum knife, that's how you do it. :p Would be awesome though, non the less!
