You are stressing about this so much that you’ve not read or understood the multiple posts saying to not worry, if you got your receipt, you’ll be ok!
That I understand and I saw where they will just send them out. But if they're just being sent out, how do the rules apply for the law abiding? I was more so sharing a thought for others whom were confused.

Aw that's unfortunate. Well with the quantity we ordered this year we're about at the minium to order from CASE knives. 🤔
Not to start discuss next year before this years even gets shipped 😆 Just the musings of someone running on to little sleep
CASE is not flavor of the day and a flipper's dream. So I'm not sure you would get the same quantity ordered if it was CASE.

I’m thinking of contacting microtech for the 2022 BF knife. Push button OTF lambfoot with rams horn scales. Glass breaker on the opposite tip. Partial serrations.
Switch the rams horn for stag and im in.

Great to see the forum knife tradition again this year. Looks like a nice knife! I'm not nearly as into traditional knives as many here are, but appreciate all the effort that goes into this nonetheless. Nice work!

I may post some more in this area so I have a chance at one of those Canadian only ones later. :P

Maybe we start a poll to see if we want a Case made Forum knife or a GEC made Forum knife?

For next year's forum knife I'd give my vote to revitalizing CK Mike's modern lambsfoot project. I remember reading it was put on hold long term, but maybe he can get things moving by then. It's a viper knife so demand shouldn't stress people out.

+1 vote, I would love to try out an Italian "modern lambsfoot"! I can't locate a GEC/Waynorth (like 99% of slipjoint fans) and the quality of the Sheffield example I purchased was....underwhelming.

Sad to hear that, but not surprised I'm afraid :(

Sadly, yes. And furthermore, to circle back and connect some other dots here, I would add that I have read your entire Lambsfoot thread, and I try to keep current with new postings, but I have never posted a single comment there myself. Because I don't have any joyous examples to share and I don't wish to speak up just to gripe about the one example I do have. So I lurk and I learn and I drool over some of the beautiful pieces of cutlery on display. The point being, I think there are probably a lot of folks like myself who read here a lot and speak a little. I completely understand that flipping is a problem and that there must be some type of minimum qualification for the forum knife. But it would be wrong to assume that everyone with a low post count here is a greedy scammer with no actual interest in this community.

Edit to say: "skimmed" the entire Lambsfoot thread would be more accurate. I can't say I've digested every word, it's 2600+ PAGES lol. But even so it has taken me many many visits to skim through.

Reading the whole Guardians thread is quite an achievement, feel free to dive in there anytime :) Fair point, but I agree with B blackmamba
