QTRMSTR Knives being sketchy (screenshot photo)

I got a good buddy living up in Austin. I should ask him to drop by their "factory" when he's got the time :p

Said "factory" is powered by hamsters, so good luck with that.

Better yet being as Mantis Knives is in Booth Number 404 at Blade Show for the next three days ask them two simple questions.
1) The physical address of this Texas Knife Factory ?
2) Why is there NO public record of it's existence as required by law ?
Maybe Blade HQ you tube channel or Blade Magazine of which I'm a subscriber could do it?

E mail sent to Blade HQ with link to this thread. Maybe someone at Blade will ask the two simple questions?

He sounds like a typical SoCal phony. Valley boys :rolleyes:
LoL! Having been born and raised in the valley (grateful to have escaped reasonably unscathed...whew!), I completely know what you're saying...

I respectfully offer the following modification to your observations: I'd say he's a couple degrees worse than a valley boy... he sounds like a full on Calabasas scum bag: take all that valley-boy fakeness and douchery, but further distill and concentrate those traits while infusing a little extra egomania and shamelessness, along with a further reduction of respect for self and surrounding environment and then I think we have a clearer picture of this ass-clown Jared West. When I think about it, I actually pity the guy...what a sad sad, empty way to walk through the world, even disowned by his own dad...

As if "his" designs aren't nauseating enough, the guy behind the company takes it to another of stomach-turning awful.

The fact that these trash (and trashy) knives sell strongly enough that respected retailers and supporters within our BF community will openly sell and promote such a questionable product depresses me as much as it confuses me...

Aren't there laws that require accurate labeling of product origins in order to be legally sold in this country? I'm surprised this hasn't been an issue for quartermaster knives already....

This is what I don't get as well as it is essentially fraud/misrepresentation isn't it?... (people paying for something they're not getting)

Fraud = "Theft with a smile" :thumbdn::thumbdn::thumbdn:
