Quartermaster knives

You might be the most willfully blissful (I wanted to use another word here) person I have ever seen.

Explain their state of the art facilities being a broom closet?

Or their complete censorship of all inquiries?

Does any other company do this?

No red flags to you... All I can say is WOW. lol

Spend every dollar you make on their Chinese junk then. You deserve every knife they send you for supporting these losers.

And by the way, if they lie about WHERE they are made how do you know they won't lie about WHAT they are made with? Blade steel?

Keep buying them up dude.
What I am seeing is a lot of circumstantial at best "evidence" that everybody is taking as word of law. Mob mentality and guilty until proven innocent. Report them and leave the investigator to do his work and stop making assumptions and pointless speculations.

Anyone that still supports them at this point after seeing everything that's been pointed out deserves to get ripped off and lied to. You're like that dumb girl that keeps getting cheated on, no matter how much everyone tells you and shows you you keep giving him a chance. At a certain point it becomes your fault for letting it happen.

Qtrmstr is that guy, and he keeps lying and screwing you and all your friends, with no condom and has AIDS.

If you do not see what is wrong with Jared and Qtrmstr than I feel sorry for you. Couch has posted pretty concrete evidence that they blatantly lied about their knives, designs, manufacturing and hell even their facilities. Not to mention the complete lack of ethics in stealing people's designs, unprofessionalism in dealing with customers (see all the pictures of qtrmstrs post insulting customers), the previous apology from Jared for offering a bounty to his "militia" to get a bladeforum member and etc.

If you still choose to buy from a company like that, no one can help you and I for one would not want to do business with people associated with that.

A company that violates state laws and federal regulations by falsely claiming "made in USA" status, and goes to great effort to cover it up and lie to consumers, doesn't deserve to be in business. I don't care if they make the best knives in the world, they're lying scumbags. That's all there is to it.

Apparently some people are fine with all that

I think if they were honest in the first place they would be a top selling Premium Chinese knife with an actual warranty. Maybe they should quietly disappear and start a new mysterious brand.

"They" (Jared West) did that a while ago already; buyer beware LOL... :thumbdn::thumbdn::thumbdn:

Sold by many legit knife dealers of course. :thumbdn::rolleyes::mad:

My quick point. Maybe all we do have is circumstantial evidence, maybe Quartermaster is completely above board and circumstances have just conspired to make them look shady.

But is it really worth the risk?

There are dozens of companies out their with business ethics that are beyond reproach. Companies where these questions have literally never come up, much less come up backed by evidence.

I don't know about you, but there are a thousand knives I want to buy and I cheerfully welcome any excuse NOT to buy one as it keeps my wallet from screaming at me quite so loud.

I'm not gonna lie. There are at least two Quartermaster models I would snap up if they were made by ZT, Spyderco, Benchmade, Cold Steel, Buck, Boker, CRK, CRKT, Guardian Tactical, or a dozen others. But they aren't, so I won't. I've got plenty on my list already, so losing out on two knives doesn't phase me in the least.

In this situation; not at all IMHO...

There's too much "evidence" that's surfaced over the years; again, starting all the way back in the Mantis days as previously posted.

One of the few old videos I could find LOL; most have been mysteriously deleted.:foot::grumpy: Apparently, we're all haters and knife snobs here so it must be true.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Does anyone have the Wikus Laser guided knife vid; that was pure comedy. Pic for reference:

Glad to see this here, I've been following the IG saga, more information that's damning against this horrible company. Those machines don't exist in the US, they are not sold here, only in China. qtrmstr took the pics from Wayeah/WE, who is making their knives.

I would love to see evidence of this! That would be maybe the first conclusive proof of their Chinese origins.

I posted photos of the machining mentioned above a page or so ago. I also put all this together on Instagram and spread the word. There are a lot of other photos showing the same thing and more. It's clearly obvious. The mill they are using is made by Easson in China. They're not even available here in the US. Qtrmstr didn't even know what mill t was when asked nor did they know anything about the vices. They've posted photos with "the door open" which was actually a photo thru the side window. They don't know shit about machining and it's clear as day. Anyone who argues this is lying to themselves.

Didn't you watch the half hour interview I posted; J-Rod said they're all made in USA...;):foot:

QRTMATER Knafs HQ based off of their listed web address LOL.

I you could post a link to all the photos here I'd really appreciate it! I have the one with the two instagram photos of the mills side-by-side (and they're the same), but would love to see whatever else you know of.

This is all circumstantial, quartermaster for life FTW! Until I hear quartermaster admit their knives are made in China on their instagram with legal notary present I ain't believing nothing!

The only way that will happen is when they are sued, either by the FTC or another knifemaking company. They have already committed to this (alleged) lie and they'll go down pretending.

Or maybe you're being sarcastic

EDIT: But seriously, a lawsuit might be the only way to dredge up the truth. I wonder if there's grounds for class action?

If something substantial comes up not sourced from Facebook private eyes, I will gladly say Quartermaster done messed up. That said, their knives are actually well made, WHICH IS WHAT THIS WHOLE BLOODY THREAD WAS ABOUT. I have handled quite a few of them, and while they are in a prohibitive price bracket (I don't have $150+ for knives) I like their ridiculous designs, and they fit my hand surprisingly well, with no notable hot spots. Something tells me this will, yet again, turn right back into a haterade chugging contest, with no mention of the actual point of the thread. Amirite?

Wow turns out you really are burying your head in the sand. Good luck to you in life.

Yup. They have some good designs that seem well made. And if they were above board with everything they did I would probably own at least two, well, maybe one since they want a small fortune for the General Lee. Problem is, why should I believe they use the materials they claim? Why should I believe they'll stand behind the product? And, most importantly, why should I give my money to ethically challenged liars when there are thousands upon thousands of knives made by upstanding companies with transparent business practices?

I know it's not what you're trying to get at, but for many, many of us quality becomes a secondary concern when the source is deeply suspect.

I checked out their website. Just about every page, every paragraph mentions something about being made in the U.S. They are really trying to drive home that their product is U.S. made. Perhaps they are using that loophole someone mentioned earlier about having a certain percentage of U.S. sourced materials or inspecting done here that allows them to call their products made in the USA?

How much have they paid you to keep commenting all this BS? They trading you free knives? It's been a known tactic of theirs. Block those that disagree and buy off those foolish to accept.
