Queens #99 Scout knife...

That's a real beauty. I'm especially glad to see them have a bail and long pull master. It's times like this that I wish I was still working. This fixed income thing of retirement crimps my style.:D

No Bail.

Question - Are all of the tools made of D2, or just the main blade? Does anybody know definitively?

They must be sold out because I can't find the bone ones on the site.

Still eleven left, I just checked. Go to KSF, go to Queen, go to model #99, click the little "bone" model at the bottom. You might see only individual horn ones listed at first, but one will show the remaining stag horn models all in one link. The way the results sort for me on the page, it is the bottom link of the #99 models.

Once again, you guys simply cannot be trusted with my wallet. These Scouts look gorgeous and very useful, ponied up for one in buffalo horn. Even threw in a new Mountain Man in the stag bone. Fingers crossed these 2 live up to expectations!

I really like the Scout or Camp Utility knife. I've collected at least ten or 12 of them in various makes. But this Queen sure is sweet.

Do I really need another one?

Tom

I believe it was Albert Einstein, who through much study, experimentation, and work, developed and proved the formula "N+1"

"N" being the number you presently possess.

Therefore, according to Al, yes, you do need another one.

I should have known that I would get the very predicable answer that "YES" I should get one more. This also makes sense. "I like D2, I like scout, I like buffalo... I ordered one. "

Thanks guys, Tom

I'm on the fence on this one. Can anyone provide more feedback regarding quality on theses knives?

Just received mine today. I like it. Great horn on it, well feathered. Blades open and close with snap. And the main blade came hair shaving sharp. Small gaps in the springs do not bother me. All springs are flush when open and closed. This is going to be my camping knife.

bozack, I'm seriously generous of you right now. Do you have a shot of the other cover? I've found that it can be a challenge to find knives with both sides feathered that well. Most have one beautiful cover and one that's jet black. I'm just curious as to how yours is so that I can figure out if I need to plan a heist, bullets or no bullets. :p

Well rats. Didn't show. last track 6-13-15. Was suppose to deliver today, but it's stuck somewhere between Portland and my house. :grumpy:

I feel your pain man. I have one (a different knife) stuck in the abyss between here and Portland as well. :o

I do look forward to hearing more on this knife. Has anyone else received one?

The other side with all blades open, Cory. It pays to be on the site when they go up. I had the pick of the litter.
