R.I.P Vampire Gerbil

Does anyone have any pictures of Dave that could be emailed to me? I am his cousin from CA and would really like pictures within the last 10 years. I'm so terribly sad and the photos I have are very old.

Thanks,
Cyndi

Cyndi, Tiffany, Alicia, Allison I'm very sorry for your loss. pearman81s@aol.com

The internet archive has a TON of pics for you.

You can all go visit Dave's website (as an archive) with all of his Photos to download!!!

GO to above site and type in www.vampiregerbil.com there, not on the internet.

Dave was a very good friend. His wife, Stacie & Dave honored us (me & my wife) in our second wedding in Vegas. The great & powerful Vampire Gerbil adorned his tiny cape and kevlar helmet for the occasion. Cutting the cake with a Rob Simminoch neck axe, made the ceremony complete.

Dave was such a funny guy, but he was also a 100% stand up guy that would do anything for you. He was a great man & all the bad shit that he was dealt really sucked. I don't know why...but he is in a better place now. RIP Friend.

Anything I can do, care of his pups, let me know.

The rose still grows beyond the wall.
Scattering fragrance far and wide,
Just as it did in days of yore.
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forevermore.

Rest easy Dave.
You made us all laugh at one time or another.
You will stay with us forever in our hearts.

I'm going to post this one here, even though some may think it's in bad taste.

However, I know the back story, and I also know that Dave got a chuckle out of this PhotoChop when he saw it.

Wherever you are, Dave, give 'em hell.

Thank you Frank Castle for "waybackmachine"! I saved some pictures and "Rules to Date my Daughter" which was hilarious. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. Also, thank you to everyone else who posted pictures.

Guyon, not in bad taste, I know VG would get a smile out of it.
On that wayback website there's a page of images I did as a joke for Dave, they were sent to him in private. He's the one that posted them, and put them on his website.
Nobody enjoyed a laugh more than Dave.

I knew V_G from IRC, and have missed him ever since he left, tonight I just happened to ask a friend if he had heard anything about Dave. I guess the answer could have been alot worse since at least now he isn't suffering. Whereever he is, I'm certain he's making someone laugh... So I'll smile about that.

Oh Lordy, I was reading some of Dave's stuff on waybackmachine that I hadn't seen before.

And laughing so hard that tears were starting to form.

PhilL,
Thanks for posting the pictures from blade. I've always had a ball at blade. Hopefully I'll get to attend this coming June.

BTW- has anyone heard anything from JR? Havent been around in some time and we lost contact shortly after he moved to Florida.

MO, I ran into JR on chat several months ago, he was doing real well. IIRC he was back in OK, but I can't be sure. You really need to check with Pat.

RIP VG, I remember Dave's rants and ravings from when he was in his prime.
He was truly one of a kind, I have never looked at a LM Micra the same.

He traveled a very long road in a relatively short amount of time, and he will always remain VG.

Comforting thoughts and prayers sent to his family, God Bless.

I agree about the Micra...
I remember writing those "pass around" stories with Dave years and years ago.
What a shame.

Rest in Peace, Dave.
