Ok here is my new sander, and its first victim the ramp of my BK9 Its a Craftsman 2x42 and was on sale for $132 it came highly recommended by Trade and 1066

did you notice that there are only 2 allen head screws holding the platen on -- and that you can remove it, flip it, and remount it so the hardware doesn't get misplaces, at which point you have a pretty decent slack belt for convexing?![]()
