Rambo IV knife prediction?

First of all dude there is no way I could afford a Lile considering I am still in school and out of a job. Maybe next time you'll get it right.

Hope your school teaches you manners. . . someone has failed thus far. . . .

I would love to see JR use a Hibben in the new movie. As far as Rocky Balboa, it was not a great movie, but I was definately entertained for 2 hours watching it. I felt it was worth the money to see and I will go see the new Rambo movie.

I liked the First Blood knife. Never really liked any of the others. They got bigger and less practical. Do I own one? Nope.... My brother in law has the third, but Hibbin put new stags on it for him. Looks a lot better.

If he is forging his own knife. . . he is copying "The Hunted."

Indeed, there would be a similarity, but not necessarily a bad thing.
Sly if you read this, know I I carried my Rambo II on a regular basis for a few years while I was working as a forrester. It was heavy, not very comfortable, but impressive ;) Needless to say it was because of you and your Rambo series :)

Yes, a Busse would be nice although Gil Hibben's knives are spectacular.

I guess when you're pushed, insulting is easy as breathin'... :D

I guess your right. Thing is, that guy had an opportunity to be nice, maybe a make friend. Do what some other posters did and correct me, instead he takes me out of context and then adds insult to me when admitting my mistake. He is trying to make himself feel smarter by insinuating someone else stupid!? He is now on my ignore list.

Overall, I wish people would be more mature and give people the benefit of the doubt. I see this thing all too often on this forum, people who are quick to insult and lose an opportunity to make nice and potentially make a friend.
One of the reasons I barely post on here.

I will end this by a saying I heard long ago. "Only a stupid person thinks other people are stupid."

No one can esteem high enough what Stallone/Lile did for the knife scene all over the world. Whatever he chooses (seems to be an angled-tip short machete or long tanto). i still congratulate him for the guts he shows in this trailer. Hibben made "real" knives during the Vietnam war for the US-troops, not counting his commercial designs.

Hibben always made real knives and still does to this day. Everyone identifies Gil with his fantasy knives and that is understandable but far more "users" come out of his shop every week than art pieces.

Motoon,a knifemaker in Bangkok, posted on another forum that Sly worked at his forge for 3 hours one day a while back. :)
