Top Roman here, but if the past has anything to do with my decision, I remember passing on the shivs when Nathan first offered them. At least I didn’t miss out on the skinner and potato knife.🤔 There’s still a little room on the card.😛🥰

Yeah I skipped out on the UF2 preorder and regret it - ended up just getting one last Friday.

I'm def getting a DEK3. Not getting the spine sharpened - already have a couple boot daggers that fill that niche. I just have to decide on scale options - ECAM or popsicle sticks? Or neither and get G10 so it's more appropriate for food prep?

Maybe we need a dedicated pre-order-config thread so everyone can hash out all the options.

Having similar issues. Wants user, but love those ECAM.

Antique micarta is perfect on a user. That's what I have on my behemoth, I love it. It's probably the most durable material we offer, they just don't make it like they used to. It tolerates rough use and ages very well, you have nothing to worry about.

Gentlemen, assuming you like spicy food, might I suggest a Shin Ramyun spicy noodle pack. I add plenty of finely chopped ginger and garlic and an egg. A pretty tasty lunch for about $1.

And here I was trying to persuade myself from upgrading and you go and try to make logical fact based arguments to upgrade.

Lol

The antique micarta is quite expensive. The standard offerings are high quality American made materials that will last a lifetime. No reason to spring for the Westinghouse, the Acculam is very good stuff. I just wouldn't want folks to stay away from the antique material out of concern for its durability on a user. It'll hold up indefinitely.
