wishing I had an umnumzaan.

I like my Sebenzas and my Inkosi but I couldn’t get used to the Zaan. The thumb stud being placed right against the scale is what really drove me nuts.

I spent the afternoon and finished out a new comp chopper for Jo. I just finished sharpening both of the race knives. They will both tree top their entire length and can push cut the tip off a bendy straw.

Ben won the first men's event, Dan won the second (ending Ben's winning streak). Jo had an off day. *shrug*

Her competition is getting pretty good. They've been working.

^ Damn, tough trip, been on a few of those myself. Her competition getting better is a good thing, now she has a reason to improve. I look forward to hearing how she does in the next one with the fuel added to the fire.

We did have fun. I came in 2nd on the first one and 3rd on the 2nd one. I am my own worst enemy. I get in my head and psych myself out. The competition was better and that was awesome. I beat myself and I need to figure out how to get over that. Terri Lynn from Jantz deserved the win. She is a good cutter and a great person.

Nationals is next. Gallatin, Tennessee, April 30.

I would speculate that perhaps the cost is staying the same, but the dollar is not worth as much so it takes more of them.
