Dogs are weird and can pick up some peculiar habits. We had a sheepdog - poodle mix that would eat anything. Literally anything. Tried our best to keep stuff off the floor and train it not to eat socks, sticks, rocks, etc., but it was sneaky.

Eventually it swallowed something that it couldn’t throw back up. Sadly it was also the most stoic dog and never showed signs of distress until it was too late to do anything. The vets tried, but he just didn’t survive long after surgery.

I hate knowing that he suffered any at all, but damn he was a dumb stubborn assed dog.

Also … FFS people are stupid, reading comprehension is a thing of the past and common sense ain’t so common.

I have answered someone’s question twice with a relatively simple “no” and they still don’t get that no means no and move the eff on. If I could only reach through the computer screen.

Our Weim had something similar happen...my wife is pretty sure he swallowed a lava rock...perhaps thinking it was food.

He was basically drooling and foaming at the mouth all night long...I was giving him peroxide to induce vomiting and stayed up with him all night, keeping him moving, etc.

Vet told us the next day that it probably saved him...but I really don't know. It was a harrowing night...one of a few he gave us during his too short life.
Some breeds really seem like they are prey to some really awful stuff.

Mixed breeds seem way more impervious in my experience.

If you can get it, try this:

I bet SwarthyGnome SwarthyGnome can relate. You may be talking about the same guy. There are a series of profile posts on Dan's profile from a guy who fits your description!

I am assuming it was translation issue now. After ignoring his last email for more info on what I told him he didn’t need to worry about he finally emailed back and apologized saying he did understand. Gotta love international businesses.

I have about 20 gallons of kerosene left over from the heating season. I remember thinking how ridiculous it was, $4 a gallon, but now that's cheaper than diesel. I wonder what happens if I put it in my truck?
I've heard it can do a really good job at removing any gum and varnish deposits, possibly along with piston rings, crankshaft bearings and any existing vehicle warranties 😂

Call Alaska Airlines. You might be able to trade it against two tickets to Hawaii for you and Jo the Machinist Jo the Machinist :) In particular if you have a pilot license :D
