The wife fell in love with a rebuilt 54 Tin Woody. Now we just have to get it from NC to CA.

Congrats on the woody, nice that she likes it!

It’s weird, I haven’t spoke to her for ages, she always thought I didn’t like her, now I won’t get the chance to sort shit out.
Guess we should reach out to people because you never know when it’s no longer an option.
Anyway I’ll stop gibbering on.
Take care folks, and tell the people you care about that you do actually give a shit before it’s too late
Thanks Ronnie,

Ain't that the truth! Since the other day was Sibling's Day, my estranged sister texted me in hopes of opening some sort of communication lines.
Life is way too short for grudges, so I responded. We'll see where it leads....

"Hey, Roland, can I drive it to the beach in Wyoming?"
When I was a young kid I met Frankie Avalon in an elevator at the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta. I just started a conversation with him and he was nice. Before he got out, he busted out an 8x10 glossy head shot and signed it and gave it to me. I was a little confused until he was gone and my mom explained who he was.

Some years ago when we were still living and working in South FL, my sister-in-law was staying at a nice hotel on Miami Beach when my wife went to spend the day with her.

As they were coming downstairs in the elevator, NFL quarterback Jim Kelly was with them and my wife turned to him and greeted him. My S-I-L looked at her like "why are you talking to some strange man in the elevator" when my wife turned to Kelly and said "She doesn't know who you are...but I do." They both had a nice chuckle.

I've met a ton of celebrities over the years...and most all of 'em have been pretty damned decent.
