Nathan's stepmom passed away today. She did not raise him, but has been part of our lives for over 25 years. Nathan is spending some time with his dad

Back in paradise (well, not anymore ....)

17h yesterday, including 1.5h jam in Reno (overturned truck) and puppy potty breaks every three hours. In other news, I paid $145 to fill up our GL450 at a Chevron in Nevada, never paid that much for gas since I came to the US 23 years ago.

I have had my brand spanking new K18 ("The Widowmaker") for about an hour and nearly killed myself four times already and my left arm is literally cut and bleeding in two different locations. QUESTION: Is this a record?

They are terrifying to assemble. I have had quite a few nicks myself. Be safe my friend.

Anybody willing to part with a D3V DEK1?

I need a high quality fixed blade to carry on the job (I'm a full time firefighter/medic) and the UF2 that I just bought, while a beautiful and highly functional knife, is just a smidge too long to carry every day. The DEK1, at 2" shorter, would be perfect for me.

I just picked up second one on my daughters wishes ( ssshhhhh I’m getting one for Father’s Day ) and I’m guessing she’s only giving me one….

However, as for stories and details and explanations . . . I have already publicly shamed myself enough on this thread. I'm not about to reveal any more gory details. Instead I will pat myself on the back for having gone 24 consecutive hours now without further harming myself with the loaded gun known as K18.
