That’s a great set of rag micarta!Just finished modding my first FK2 kydex sheath. Seriously excited about a future Duramax leather sheath….one for the woods and the other for around town. Thank you again to Woodysone, the CPK community, and BF for enabling me to acquire my all time favorite fixed blade, thus far.

Looks Great!! While most knives look the they are drawn and designed on paper, the FK2 feels like its been molded out of clay... melts in the hand on any grip and is the most functional fixed blade I've ever owned. CPK is a gateway drug to more CPKs.. bewareJust finished modding my first FK2 kydex sheath. Seriously excited about a future Duramax leather sheath….one for the woods and the other for around town. Probably still on the ratchet or extension. Or under your hood.
Thanks I appreciate that. Mark haa decided to save it from the creek bed. He said something about food shortages and rising gas prices and the impending societal collapse aren't going to keep him down. I'm not sure what he meant by that but I'm sure it's completely benign.Nathan the Machinist
Send it to Canada. I’ll beat the shit out it and make it pay for upsetting you.
Freehand grinding a big 'ol double edged sword + "the finer grits are grabby"...I scrapped a K18 today.
#sad
Trying to get all fancy and do a satin grind. I got pretty handy grinding these but I haven't attempted the finer grits and, in retrospect, I maybe shouldn't have... It is tricky holding these, and I do my grinding freehand. That big ol sword is kind of awkward in places. The finer grits are grabby and it rolled it right into the fuller. Really bad. Not salvageable.
