Random Thought Thread

Never heard of him/it before. Not a fan of the onlayed versions of the iMamba but the sleek lines of the plain Ti version (which apparently is the only version currently available for sale) "speak to me."

It reminds me of a Sebenza. One negative to me is that the blade at 3.4" is just a bit short for me (I prefer folders between 3 5/8-4") and, at $450 (plus $20 shipping), it's approaching my buy limit of $500 and the closer it gets to that limit the more I have to "think about it."

But, now that you've mentioned it, I'll be keeping an eye out for one on the Exhange (and elsewhere) to see if I can catch one for less. ;)

If you haven't seen it yet, here's a BF thread where it's also being discussed: Arno Bernard iMamba Praise.

He's a well known and respected South African maker. @Steven65 can fill you in much more about Arno Bernard.

Only a pleasure Elliot.
Arno has been a member of the Knifemakers Guild of South Africa for many years. He is a fixture of the Blade Show in Atlanta and he has done many other knife and hunting shows in the U.S. over the years.
His hunting knives have gone all over the world and he is famous for making knives with African materials like Giraffe.
I have not seen this particular knife but from what i have been told by people I respect, it's nice. :)

I know it’s days late, but the iMamba is an inlay not an onlay. Very similar to an inlayed CRK.

Also, the iMamba is made by Arno Bernard Knives (Arno’s four son’s company) not Arno Bernard himself.
Arno Bernard, Sr makes the Orca. Very similar to the iMamba but a longer handle and blade.

Now, back to the regular scheduled programming. 😁

Thank you guys so much for your concern and jo for emailing me!

You all are the bestest!

The guy is still there... his manic swings are getting worse and worse, he tried to fight a different employee today.... manager did nothing, but the assistant manager is doing everything she can

HR showed up at the end of the day, with a bunch of blank statement b/s .... I told her the other night I told my wife if anything happens at work I warned management this guys unstable... and HR seemed to blow that off

It's hot and humid I'm in a heated booth with a paint suit and respirator on, without the ability to hear what's going on outside my booth, so the stress level has been ultra high

I'll keep updating, tomorrow I set up a meeting with HR myself , and stay in contact with the other employees every night ..... if my HR meeting doesn't work I told all the other employees we're going to all call of one day and our reason will be we feel unsafe to come to work
