"He's a 17 year old snot-nose kid"

"You are correct, sir!"

I made a video and used a magnet to show that the chain is steel. Because a magnet.

but. What if he doesn't know about magnets? I mean, I assume that people understand that lead and aluminum etc won't be significantly attracted to a magnet but that's an assumption. I have an engineering background and I'm probably older than his parents, so I have life experiences. Life experiences that tell me about magnets and their special relationship with ferrous materials. Life experiences that are probably different than his. I know that the magnet pretty much proves the chain is steel (or iron). At least not lead. But I don't know what he does and doesn't know. When I was his age my life experiences revolved around desperate attempts to get my dick wet. I didn't know anything about anything. What if he thinks that all metals are magnetic? "Hey! Nice trick! But you're just proving that it's made of metal! I'm no fool!"

I really don't know how to proceed here...

I want to bring this young dumb (no offence intended) young man into the fold. I want to help expand his horizons. I have shown something that seems impossible, and a reasonable skeptical mind might call bullshit on something that seems unreal. That's a good thing! Where do we go from here?

I designed a knife that Jason Knight made, and he did a video cutting a tree branch into pieces. Some yahoo posted that it was faked, Jason took great offence. I mean, it really got under his skin.
I get it, but I think I'd still have a hard time giving a shit. Let it go, man. Literally no one (here) cares what this person thinks or says.

Mark asked me this morning, when are we doing the video for the SDFK?

Shit man, I haven't even uploaded the pictures for that utility fighter edge stability question guy.. fuc

"Didn't you say you're going to try and cut a chain with it?"

"Have you ever tried that before?"

"Are you sure that's even possible?"

Fuc

Fuc yeah!
''cutting (STEEL) chain polishes the edge''

Never thought that would be a true statement

eta WHO WANTS TO BUY A KIDNEY OR ONE OF SEVERAL OTHER REDUNDANT BODY PARTS?

My read was that it wasn't understood that the blade was driven through the chain with a hammer, i.e. it was simply 'cut by hand,' which is not the case. Nathan drove that blade through the chain with a hammer resulting in almost no damage to the edge, which in itself is just wild. But someone not familiar with CPK may not have seen Nathan drive blades through bolts and such with that big a$$ hammer. I don't think I'd take offense Nathan unless the point is pushed, and then you've already got enough stuff out there to prove the point.

Hey guys. I know i sounded doubtful so just let me lay it on the table. I have been in the dirt racing community down here since I was 10. Getting started we asked folks for help. I shit you not, they told us the exact opposite thing. we spent four years chasing our asses before we figured it out on our own. Also being a kid in new mexico (the propaganda everywhere is insane) I was told to take things with a grain of salt. I am sorry if i have hurt anyones feelings and i know i more than deserve the criticism on yalls end. As for the disparaing remarks about new mexico, lets just say that the blue on the map is nonexistent where i come from. I should have done more research before i wrote my peice, and that is my fualt.
He's from New Mexico?
We know how to deal with non believers here. 😈
As for this, this sums up the criticism against me from most everyone. I am no fucking Karen so although i have little to no knowledge in the capabilities of knives, do not make calls on the information i have in my profile. I live in new mexico and am 17, that much is true. Past that, none of yall can possibly know shit about me, like that i have part of my finger missing. I am cryptic online as a rule.
As i said before, i was indifferent about the feeling my post might have created among yall. i know better now and this is a sincere apology, especially to Nathan. Had no idea a knife could do that and in new mexico, surrounded by dishonest people, i have learned to grill people on the icebox before i get anything, from a used race tire, to a new big rig. I am sorry yall. long live cpk

Hey man, watched the videos. From now on ill take yalls word as legit. Also thanks for the understanding. On my first knife, folks were skeptical that i cut a 2x4 in half with my first knife... and could still cut hair with it at the end. Sorry bout doubting your knives. i am proud of mine too and would kick somebodies ass if they made fun of them. "Do unto others" and thats what i didnt do. sorry
