Is there a hammer mark on the spine of the blade? Also if that is a steel chain is it brand new? And on the fifth link from the right end there is a crack in the weld of the chain, one that would not regularly show up in a steel chain. Call me curious or untrusting but there is no way you could cut through a chain with that knife, without using a hammer or having a lead chain. Simple physics, not trying to steal your thunder.

Haven't seen many/any CPK videos? He always uses a hammer to hammer his CPKs through stuff (like the 4" solid concrete with aggregate blocks, or the steel nails and bolts).

***which says a bit about D3V on its own, considering there are more than a few knife brands where the hammer itself (he typically uses a cross/straight peen hammer?), would damage the knife

Of course I used a baton to make a cut like that. I usually use a 4 lb cross-peen hammer and this was no exception.

It is an old chain that was part of a lot of chains and slings that I picked up at an auction a couple weeks ago. It was being used at a big industrial grinding operation up in Ohio. I used it for the cut because it's so short it's not a useful length. There are no cracks in it.
 
^ And that is with just the Basic SDFK! 🤯 Imagine what the Signature Series SDFK could do with it's fancy cursive signature and sexy swedge!

While we are on the Signature SDFK, I didn't see one in that collection. It appears that I have the only one in the wild...at least for the next two weeks! 💪 👑

You boys know I will lead the charge and die on the CPK hill right with ya. Looking at his profile, it says he is 17. My guess is he has never seen some stuff like this in his young life. Let’s give the kid a minute to get on the right side of the tracks before we run his ass over. If he can’t be made to see the light, I’ll happily shovel the coal into the boiler to get the train up to speed before we hit ‘em!

Oh, I am all for some tough love, He won’t be getting a free pass, we’re gonna break him down and build him back up. There are so many things I am sure he knows nothing about like Delta 3V, boobs and what it feels like to walk around with both testicles descended, but lucky for him, he found us. We can tell him about all those things. I suspect he’ll be back in here soon, you know, when he gets out of school. He probably isn’t allowed to be on his phone in seventh period.
