I wonder if they might make that an optional accessory?

Didn't seem that loud in the videos, though. With a maximum of 450fps, I'm not sure a suppressor would make it that much quieter (unlike pellet rifles in the 800 - 1200fps range, where there's a decent amount of air exiting the muzzle behind that pellet).

P.S.

Until getting the Air Venturi Avenger + DonnyFL moderator, I didn't realize how much difference springer (or igt piston or whatever they call it) vs PCP made, in the noise department. The .22 Avenger + DonnyFL is substantially quieter than my .22 Gamo Swarm Maxim (10-shot version of the Whisper) and the .22 Gamo Swarm Magnum (got the Gamos for a steal when Walmart closed them out).

It was the auction where I got that dope Okamoto surface grinder for the folder project. What a nice piece of kit. So, I figured if I was going all the way up there to get that grinder (in my brutally un-airconditioned F450) I should pick up some other stuff while I was there. And they had a lot near the end of the auction without any bids for some nice chains and straps, so I gave $50 for it. We can always use more chain. I was running out of space on the little flatbed, so I did leave some stuff behind (I got two grinders), but I went ahead and kept that little length of chain specifically because I knew I wanted to cut some chain for the SDFK video and I didn't want to cut up some good chain just for some stupid video.

It's really big chain! It's about 3/8" thick. I honestly wasn't sure the Basic 5 would cut it, I've never tried before. Mark was like "Nate we should video this" and I said nah. But once we cut it I was like holy shit! Let's put that on the internet! And now there are a bunch of people who don't believe it's real.

I'm going to get it good and rusty and shoot a video.

I guess I need to remember to use a magnet.
