Funny. My parents are exactly the same way, mom can outshoot dad any day of the week with a pistol.

Yup, I am not bad with a pistol, just not as good as (Diana) She is not a fan of the 357 magnum or 45 ACP (Recoil), but put a 380, 38 special, or 9mm in her hands and she will smoke my arse

I love the backpacker stock. You gotta get the integrally suppressed barrel next. Then upgrade the trigger. Then the recoil pin. Then the receiver. Then optics. Oh man for around $400 you can open the lid on such a fun money pit...

But you should grab her a non takedown 10/22 (for a lot less) and drop it in a bullpup stock

When we lived in Goleta, PRK we had a good view of the launches from Vandenberg. If the shot was at dusk there were all sorts of pretty colors from the toxic gases emanating from the missile. Sometimes we saw bright green and orange. I don't recall seeing anything like the one this evening.

You just did.

Usually, unless we knew the exact time of the launch, we would see the trail after the rocket is long gone.. People in Lompoc might hear the launch and get a better view. I think that we saw the rocket only once when we happened to be out side at the time. We were about 56 miles from Vandenberg. Lompoc is about 10 miles away.

I just meant that seeing it at dusk and being so close to it would’ve been cool.

This launch was pretty awesome, but those colorful exhaust trails would’ve made people down here lose their marbles!
