I have at least one of each of them...they are all so similar I would have to hold them next to each other to tell which is which with the exception of the 3 because of the swedge. I think the 2 has a little more belly which makes it better for some tasks but it's hardly a big differentiator in my experience.

I appreciate your restraint with regard to grails. Too many people describing readily available current production reasonably priced knives as "grails." If you can Google search one up and buy it for 20% off MSRP it's not a grail...

But it isn't a "What's your favorite CPK?" poll.

It's a, "What CPK are you looking to purchase, so Nathan can place orders for the steel" poll.

Are you planning on buying at least another EDC and HDFK if they are produced? If not, you're unnecessarily skewing the poll.

I understand the poll (thus the "if" in my statement) and yes thats the plan in order of my interest.

After my post, I had a suspicion that my comment might raise eyebrows. It was solely in response to mb> mb> 's breakdown, not a legitimate analysis of Nathan's intent.

That said, the skinner is still not in the running in any of the polls (or at least, last I checked) 😁.

That said, Nathan has expressed his love for the skinner pattern...and we all know it would last exactly a nanosecond if it were offered again.

So, my suspicion is that anything CPK makes will sell like hotcakes, regardless. (Really going out on a limb with that.)
 
Not too surprised at Shiv 2.0 being the top first choice but I am surprised at EDC 1.2 being the top second choice ahead of the Skinner and the Potato Knife. I have a feeling that Nathan was well ahead of the CoCKs and the general CPK'ers already toying around with some Shiv CADs and stuff. I don't know this for sure but I know this to be true!

For the record I think that I went something like this: Skinner > Shiv 2.0 > PK > EDC 1.2. I dunno, too many polls and not enough poles.
 
super interesting so far. why did so many people vote for a fourth knife but not a third? 🤣

so would a boot dagger get made since it is leading the "third choice" poll, even though it is 6th out of 7 in the overall total??? :confused:

and what about the skinner? it is a solid 3rd place for people's top choice, but falls off after that finishing last overall. what a shame. maybe we could all make a pact to change our 1/2/3 skinner votes to 4th and dominate the 4th choice poll?? 🤣
