When my samples finally arrive in about eighteen months :D I'm just going to hang them out on hook in the back porch for a few weeks until that old rubbery smell fades away.

Got Ebonite?

Dang... I guess I'm getting old because I stumbled across something this morning while reviewing some old email order correspondence that I had previously done with Jo.

A few years back I placed an order with her for some additional Ti fastener hardware sets as well as two different options of MC/BC scales. I believe that I picked them up from her in a small plastic bag at the last Blade show pre-Covid. I guess I then came back from the Blade show and squirreled them away in my safe. Covid came and I kind of forgot all about them but one of the scales are in Ebonite with gray liners! The other set was the last one with maroon linen and gray liners.

So, I went on a search and hunted down that small plastic bag and I'm now really pumped to get those Ebonite scales mounted up onto one of my CPK choppers. 🤟

Edit: Also, I figured if casinostocks can do it... I'd just go ahead and be an asshat and "quote" myself as well. :oops:

This last weekend, my wife and I went to see the Scorpions in concert - it was our 2nd time seeing them, the first being shortly after we were married over 18 years ago. The legends can still rock and they put on a great show.

That said, I've been to a few concerts over the last few years and it's getting increasingly annoying to see people enjoying the show through the lens of their damn phones. Take a few pics and then enjoy the bloody show! Otherwise, what's the point of watching a show while you record it on your phone?

So dumb.

Scorpions are not dumb though and despite the idiots with their phones, we had a great time.
