The disk drive in my laptop computer was making funny sounds and acting strangely (like spinning out of control) until I shut down the computer. It's still working but figured I better buy a new one before it dies.

Bought a new bigger & better laptop for less than the old one from Amazon during it's most recent Prime Sale. It also didn't cost me much more than what I've been recently paying for knives and it will be far more useful.

I usually get about 10 years out of a computer. Not so one for this one but, technically, it's not dead yet. However, setting up the new one reminds me what a PITA is is to set up a new computer.

And, I still have to "back up" all of the mostly useless files and photos on the old computer but I'm going to do it just the same in case I need them for some reason, as I've done w/all of my older computers, but never looked at again.

One trick pony here mate, I've been CS for as long as I remember and if you happen to come across this superbly crafted moniker on any other site which I may have previously graced, that would the one and only moi... That said, I had proposed a change of posting ID on here a while ago to one of my other personalities (you're correct, there are many) aka #stillnotnathan and for some reason which still hurts me to this day, Nathan had immediately cringed at that idea! Can't win 'em all, I tell ya!
