So, Abby's 2014 Toyota Camry SE got rear-ended and totaled out a few weeks ago. Y'all remember that. So I got her another 2014 Toyota Camry SE and it just got rear-ended and I'm sure it's totaled.

Damn. Hope she's OK mentally (and physically of course). Getting rear-ended twice in a short span...

Time to see if there are any MRAPs available for a reasonable price nearby?

OMFG

Sorry to hear that Nathan! :( I hope she's OK!?

Sure doesn't help you, but same thing happened to my wife and I shortly after we got married. BOTH vehicles rear-ended and totaled in less than 2 weeks. First one was a hit and run. 2nd one was a drunk driver. :poop:

I wish it wasn't so bad. Friend of mine had a Impala that it happened to. He ended up buying it back from the insurance company for a couple hundred and is still driving it today! Frame and all was intact but the bumper was pulled in, in the middle. Not as bad as yours is.

I hope everyone is okay

Next vehicle should be yellow so people stop hitting her car

Poor kid is going to be looking in her mirror everytime she slows down or stops

I know what y'all are thinking. I was thinking it too. How do you get rear ended twice in just a month. It's got to be a bad driver. But the first one was an emergency vehicle was coming out of a fire station and she stopped, as she was legally required and she got rear-ended. And this one, the old lady in front of her was turning into her driveway (probably painstakingly slowly) and the person behind Abby just piled into the back of her.

Damn! Hope Abby’s okay.
My little sisters first car was a brand new Honda accord. She got hit five times in five years. Being a big brother, I naturally assumed she was doing something wrong to get hit that many times.
I bought that car off of her.
It turns out the car was cursed (or invisible). In the two years I owned it two people hit it while it was parked. And some girl drove right into the side of it while I was turning left in front of her. She came up to the stop sign, came to a complete stop and then just started to go again. All of these were low speed accidents. Didn’t do any really damage outside of dented quarter panels. I replaced the same panel twice while I owned it.
Sold it to my friend with the warning to be careful because the car was invisible to other drivers.

I'm not one of 'em.

AFAIC, with the small exception for insurance scammers who deliberately cut people off and slam on their brakes to cause a collision, it's ALWAYS the rear driver's fault for following too closely.

There are a LOT of morons who tailgate where there's no way they can react in time, and that's not even counting the distracted/inattentive idiots.
