Random Thought Thread

Yeah, I have the 2017 WRX LTD 6-speed. It's a very different animal vs my old Forester XT turbo with CVT that my son Drives.

You do have to get the turbo models like Onyx XT in a Legacy to enjoy the power, but the current sport models only upgrade the suspension (my daughter has the 2.0L Impreza Sport, and it's a go-cart with little power at 5000 feet elevation). Legacy GT is a great car, and in the early days it was faster around a race track than a Mustang.

I had a 2000 Impreza 2.5RS that I installed aftermarket turbo kit, and moved to a WRX STi in 2004. Then a 2006 Tribeca > 2008 Infini G35x AWD 300+ hp, then a 2015 Forester XT turbo that my son now drives. I keep coming back to Subaru, as long as it's boosted or 6-cylinders.

WHY DID I SAY BACK ON TOPIC IF THIS IS RANDOM THOUGHT THREAD? I'LL Post this elsewhere >>> Back on topic, todays carry is my new Shirogorov Neon NL, beatemup Benchmade Shootout, and Xmas Victorinox SAK.

The Shiro is spectacular. I’m searching for the one that really rings my 🛎️!

Random question as I'm having a bit of a powerful brain fart this evening. Did I trade or sell a set of FK2 burlap scales to anyone here? I swear I had of set of burlap (thought for the fk2) but can't find burlap anything anywhere and am thinking maybe I parted with them?

Thanks, fellas!
Was it me? I am experiencing a similar brain fart.

This is the only one I’m keeping around. A Neon NL, black micarta. Martin has my other Shiro, I’m kind of thinking he got a better deal now a days. 😂😛(just teasing ya Martin)

Yeah, I could not decide between the G10 inlay or the micarta, but ended up with the Micarta Neon NL.

The green micarta is already getting darker, greener, and smoother with carry.

Well, happy to report that the tech line for my healthcare provider opened at 8 am and I was done by 8.08 this morning.

I set up a new password, logged in and out twice while she was on the line and thanked her profusely for her help.

Mission accomplished. (She thinks it may well have been a systems problem.) Sometimes you get lucky and avoid the five hour hold.

At home (CA), rain seems to be mostly over. Except for our old oak "calving" and umbrellas / trash-cans moving 2 blocks down the street, no damage :)
