I know that getting shingles isn’t fun, but man, the second Shingrix vaccine has kicked my ass. I don’t think it helped much that my son gave me his cold about the same time. I’m on day three of feeling puny, but getting better.

And now they’re also asking me to schedule a colonoscopy. Yay.

Getting old sucks, but I guess it beats the alternative…..

The double shingle shot was bad … and regarding the „inspection“ - let me just say it‘s the only time I don’t flirt with the nurses. And I have to do it every 3 years (mom had colon cancer).

The second one is a real ball-buster! But yes it is better than getting shingles. The idea of the colonoscopy is much worse than the procedure. The prep is the worst part! If you remember anything of the procedure, the person administering sedation is a moron.
