In that case, and since I read that you want to sell stuff, check my WTB add, please :)

Sorry, I'm lazy. Please PM a link to your WTB ad to me to see if there's anything I've got that you want. Thanks!

FWIW, I just posted my 1st ad to sell an Olamic Wayfarer and am surprised that there has only been 1 looker and no offers. Not a good sign . . . 🤷‍♂️

Anytime you want to sell a Carothers at a loss, let me know.

I was planning on selling a lot of knives this year but I don't "need" the $ and don't need to sell any of them. Just want to slim down the collection but there's no way I'm taking a loss on anything.

I know I can sell everything (except the autos/balis) on eBay. I've got all of my receipts so the 1099 reporting requirement doesn't worry me but I'd rather not have to deal w/it if I don't have to do so.

I'll try selling a few more things and if no one's interested, I may just do direct to EB to save myself the trouble. We'll see . . .

Honestly ... I think hold off on selling... maybe just a little bit

You're going to lose quite a bit by selling on eBay. I think you lose 14% off the bat in fees. That's not including shipping and the risk of any other shenanigans.

I've sold a lot on EB before and I never lost a lot because I can charge more there and buyers don't object to the add on of shipping and sales taxes.

Buyers now on BF seem to be low ballers who expect to get everything at a bargain price unless it's something in high demand like CPK knives. I've got 3 CPK's and I"m thinking of selling them too but I already know I can get MORE than I paid for them if I want to sell them.

Thanks man. Kydex straight out of oven and onto the blade then immediately mashed and stays mashed til cooled.

Been a while since Ive done this and it shows. Never was one for a ruler. That and burned the first two holes up having the drill on reverse 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Huh... never occurred to me before, but now I wonder how Mashed Cat sheaths got its name?

🤣🤣🤣

I have a kydex press that I built a number of years ago - I even have a large dedicated toaster oven for it as well. I haven't bent any kydex in a little while but it might be worth getting it all set up again. I just haven't messed with it since I bought my current abode. It's a cool material and VERY forgiving once you get used to its properties.
