That's really weird. I noticed all those Busse being listed and it looked to be a legit seller. I hope someone looks into it before anyone gets scammed.

This is what scammers/thieves have been doing when gaining access to a legit member's account. This is why you don't use ONE password everywhere... :rolleyes:
 
Looks like he probably uses a VPN as IP bounces around U.S. and Europe. Last feedback was recent, but before that 2019. I don't see anything bad reported from recent transactions...but I think I'd want to see new images with the date and time, and Burke's user name on it.

I don't like that there's no way to recoup the funds from Zelle or other acceptable payment method without further evidence.

I asked for those images and he won’t send. Hoping my bank can help me, waiting for a response from them. Otherwise I guess I’m out of luck.
 
B Burke keep me posted. It looks like he stuck another member as well. Sold the same knife via direct message and then turned around a short time later and offered a second one...but wanted the money sent to another account.

I'm afraid this is smelling bad.

I'm with you, and I've no idea how the whole card thing got revived to begin with... nostalgia maybe?

What's the proper protocol if you get hacked/locked out of your account?

We've been seeing this more and more lately. Might be a good idea for people to start using different emails, each one un-linked to the next.

First and best step is use a unique, strong, secure password here. Don't use it anywhere else. Don't save it on any device, if you need to write it down, physically write it down somewhere at home. Really, that's what one should do for any site on the web they have an account on...
