Okay, I broke down and ordered a large MagnaCut Sebenza...but decided to go in a different direction since I already had the beautiful drop point of the "Regular" from 1998, which was a gift from the missus...and the Insingo on the small Sebenza 21 (I believe)...so, this is what is inbound from the dealer:
(Hopefully the hardness of 63-64 is an accurate assessment.)

Interesting, I'm waffling between the tanto and drop point. I actually requested tanto since those seemed to be coming out sooner, but now I'm seeing drop points and thinking about switching...

Probably can't go wrong either way, but I don't really care for the current drop point profile compared to my old version...and I like the thicker tip of the tanto and the fact that it lends itself to some different uses compared to most of my other blade profiles.

I was surprised to find it available, and there are several knives at the site in different blades and configurations.

20CV is very sensitive to quench rate in heat treat. Most people, using production knives, have never properly tried it. The edge stability can be much better than people realize.
Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist , have you had any experience with the 20CV used in Hogue/Ritter RSK or mini RSK knives?

Edit: Would love to get in on a CPK folder if one comes out! 😁
