While I think that "Mountain Time" may well be a part of the reason that Jokic gets overlooked to some degree, it doesn't excuse the volume of votes by which he came in second to Embiid in the voting for MVP...and frankly, though I am loathe to say it out loud, I believe that race is, unfortunately and lamentably, an issue.

That said, it made my heart glad to see the panel of Stephen A, Wilbon, and Jalen Rose all say last night that Jokic is the best player in the NBA / world.

There is still hope.

(I don't want to belabor the discussion of racism here, just as I wouldn't do with politics, I just think it's naive to ignore it and make believe it doesn't exist in this arena.)

The early birds came in about an hour ago. The main show will open in an hour but I don't think we're going to have as much inventory as I had hoped.
