Blues Blues in your many travels.....

If you've been there.... is a real Philly cheese steak with wiz as good as it looks or no

(My wife wants to go there just to try a original cheese steak)
There's a place here that makes them like that. Everyone raves about it. I can't handle cheese wiz though đŸ€ź
Their cheese steak sammich with provolone and green chiles is delicious though!

I've never set foot in Philadelphia...but I was aboard an Amtrak train that passed through it on the way to D.C. to drop some evidence off at our forensic lab.

I've only ever had inauthentic Philly cheese steak sandwiches. But the guy I get them from in town is from Philly and buys his stuff special. (That said, I have nothing to compare it to...so...I dunno.)

Here's a random thought .... ADD on dominate right now

Me and the family made a trip to NYC a few years ago.......

We went to the empire state building (this story still makes me laugh) while waiting in line I notice a plethora of metal detectors..... so like any civilized man I told my wife "put my pocket knife in your purse" she replied "what is wrong with you I don't want a knife in my purse going through metal detectors!!!"

So I stopped asking at that point...... little did my wife know....I slipped my pocket knife in her purse while she was saying no.....

She was before me in line and was stopped by security after the freaking woop de woops alarming and stuffs ..... they pulled the knife out of her purse and she gave me that Lazer wife stare........

I gave in and admitted the knife was mine ...the security lady said I have 2 options

1 give her the knife and I might not get it back

2 wait outside with my knife

I chose option 2 and she told me "out of towner
... good idea" lol

As I waited outside.....for some odd reason my wife was irritated..... I told her "I'm a hero I just saved you from getting in trouble"

I found it funnier then her lol

That was my first car! Two tone, light and dark blue...started my love of tiny wagonsđŸ„°
Without irony, I love those cars

I was around 12 when I really learned how to drive. My buddies farm had a '79 powder blue.
Latchkey kids đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž

Those little buggers were darn near indestructible, 2 or 3 young teens could roll one back over with ease

Do you like it? Pros and Cons? Are the Pellets housed off to the right? Max temp?

Sorry, I have questions.......😁
Pellets in the back. Hopper is yuuuge, claims 40# capacity. I think it’s more like 45-47# In reality.

PID-controlled temperatures from 180Âș to 500Âș (with WiFi app can be monitored and controlled from anywhere), and max temp at “MAX” is reportedly upwards of 700Âș. I’ve only ran mine up to 450Âș for elk burgers and elk steaks so far, but it has zero issues getting there. I can believe the 700Âș claim.

Welp smoker is a no go....

The main body of it is so dented and warped from FedEx employees hate f@#king it till it was dropped off at my house
Damn, that sucks Yoko. Mine was delivered by Freight (Estes), and there are plenty of horror stories out there. They come palletized from RecTeq

Mine showed up one morning after I’d gone to work. No notification, no knock, no shipping update, etc. They put it right in front of the garage door, blocking my wife in. She only found it when she went to leave. My son was able to muscle it over to the edge so she could get out.

I got lucky, and there was only one small fork poke in the box, no damage to contents.

Sorry, I didn’t fully answer all your questions.

So far, I really like it! Well-made. Big pro is the ease of use compared to my Masterbuilt smokers (especially the gas-powered stick burner). It doesn’t have to be baby sat non-stop. I smoked a brisket in January 2022 up at my buddy’s cabin on his. It got down to -20Âș that night, and the smoker kept the set 210Âș without issue. It was nice the next day out on the lake, I could just open the app and check the grill and 2 probe temps, saving myself the 30-minute round trip on the snowmobile. Once it was done, I was able to run in and pull it, wrap the flat and put it in the cooler, and make burnt ends with the point. Back out on the ice for the final couple hours of the tournament.

Con (well-known too) is the wheels/casters suck and could use an upgrade. Not a major issue for me, mine won’t get moved around too much.

don't get get drunk and buy a chevette Jim..
LMAO! We had an older model in faded red when I was a kid. Things was a total POS, but just kept running. It burned a lot of oil, and I remember my dad replacing the tranny more than once (almost cut his finger off one time when he was trying to bolt the tranny in, and the thing fell out onto his finger). I learned stick shift on that thing at 11 or 12 years old when we drove it out to Eastern CO for some pheasant hunting.
