A very wealthy patient of mine in Idaho was not doing well in ICU. We were talking and he asked if I was happy with my life, my marriage, my job, where I was living. He asked what my dream place to live would be and I told him Alaska. He said “You need to quit wasting time settling and go be happy somewhere. He said he regretted toiling away to make more money and felt it was all for nothing. I had an interview in Anchorage 2 weeks later, moved up, divorced, and was happier than I had been in a very long time. My ex is a great person and a great RN, We just wanted different things and she said no to AK after coming to see it. I had decided I wasn’t leaving here. She is doing well, and I married the best woman alive. People deserve to be happy. Cherish the time with loved ones and let them know how you feel.

Something people don’t realize about money…you don’t retire and sail into the sunset. An estate is a business that must be attended to. The older you become, the slipperier you have to be if you have heirs. You will be in a Cold War with the IRS. The gov. knows all the tricks. It’s very expensive to be well off.
edit: as was said ⬆️ you can’t buy more time, use it well while you have health, which you can’t buy either.

That would be awesome! If you succeed I’ll a have some rare and tasty experimentals with yoko yoko written all over them.

Edit: I’ll actually grab yoko yoko some experimentals whether he succeeds or not. He just seems like a genuinely nice and positive guy.
