I used the MC to clear a couple blackberry stalks and weeds around the base (butt) of the pole to inspect it. It was sheered off, almost completely, a few inches subsurface. Meatloaf and his girlfriend (cousin) must’ve been haulin ass !
You mean going like a "bat out of hell!"

Odin is not a fan of fireworks or when Mother Nature gets noisy. Last night was brutal , first fireworks then thunder and lightning !!! The storm was way worse though. Ended up watching Independence Day 1 & 2 one twice lol. Maybe I’ll sleep tonight lol , hopefully not on the floor again for just a few hours🤷‍♂️

Best dog I've ever had in my life (boxer/rot mix) was terrified of fireworks , had to let him outside just so he could cower between my legs and he would calm down just a tiny bit

Bella on the other hand barks and jumps in the wrong direction like she's catching them lol

Skyler doesn't mind fireworks...but over the past years she's become more and more sensitive to heavy rain, thunder, lightning and smoke alarms.
If it's raining or thundering when we go to bed, I move her dog bed to the floor alongside my side of the bed.

She shivers out of control.

Not fun, but I haven't found a good solution and I refuse to drug her. Sometimes I wrap her in a fleece blanket and that helps. Maybe I should have tried a thundershirt or whatever they call it.

Morrison is similar but not quite as bad. He didn’t used to care AT ALL but as he’s gotten older I can tell he doesn’t like them. He gets up, pants, wanders around.

I can usually calm her down after a bit, the panting and shivering breaks my heart but there's only so much you can do.
She didn't used to be this way at all. Shit changes.

Tomorrow will be 10 years since we had to put our Weim "Smoky" down. That was a really bad day that has lasted years.

Wally does that same jumpy- catchy thing. Half the time he lands on his back or head though. Then he looks at me like it’s my fault he did a poor Chris Farley impersonation. Lol !

Ya' know...

While Osama Bin Crystal-pants is scared sh!tless of thunderstorms, she seems to have ZERO fear of fireworks.

Like two seven-year-old boys in the 80's, she and I are playing "War" tonight.

We're pretending that she's in the tower, on the perimeter (*on the 240)...and I'm her Team Leader...

"Tangos...11 o'clock!"

"Two. Five. Zero. meters!"

"Ten-round burst!"

"Get some!!!"...

I'm 100% mistaken. Removed comment.
