I had some dental work done in Caracas with no local anesthetic and I quickly learned why that technique was used years ago for interrogating bad guys (overseas)! Hitting a nerve made me not want to see a dentist for a while. 🤣

A pain service provider I know pushes IV sedation for many procedures that certainly do not need it but it raises the fee.

Eye injuries if careless, burns if careless (or not), fires if careless, CPK funds spent on new tools and welders/torch/helmet/gloves, etc. Smiles and accomplishment at being able to build and repair all sorts of things if you learn. I think welding is an amazing skill and the folks who are good at it make it look so easy (NOT)! If I could go back in time I would gladly trade 8 years of college for learning trades- it is so gratifying seeing something you built or repaired.
 
Saw a weird fireball looking thing hovering out over the ocean last night

It would start out dim a few moments and then become pretty bright and flicker for a few minutes and then dim and disappear for a few minutes and then it would come back again. This went on for about half an hour.

Any idea what this was?

No oil rig out that way and it was way too high off the horizon to be a flare from a rig
