Thanks, fellas. I was about 5 miles away on a country road so not too far. The car surprisingly drove fine.

My brother (who works for Geico) said it was good that I didn't brake - said that he sees cars where the animal went through the windshield all the time.

I think this will buff out ok.

Glad you are ok. Up here the moose come through the windshields frequently because the legs are so long. Outcomes are usually not good- lots of fatalities. We hit one on the highway in my Yukon while pulling a trailer with 2 atv’s. $15,000 damage but we were unscathed. There is a ‘roadkill list’ for folks wanting meat who get called to pickup the carcass asap once LEO says they can.
