Don't you forget it. I've been assigned protection duty for the upper echelon of CPK management. I didn't just show up here one day. That pic with the truck all fixed up and GTG: the evening's shadow looks like a blue hue casted all over Nathan's white truck. Holy moly, Blues does really do the hovering above thingie![]()
I would have taken it to him too. And he wouldn’t have had to even talk to me.Much love to my Ohio and birthday brother searching out parts to help NathanCap’n Smudge

I'm impressed: a pair of Optima spiral cell batteries - those can take a beating and keep on cranking. I ran them for years in my normally aspirated 91 F350 7.3. Never had any problems with them, even if they went dead (lots of vampire loads on mine) they'd come back with a couple hours charge. For no real reason I've switched to Odyssey AGMs, pretty much the same deal.Good to go
Parts runner was just a random customer Nathan bribed. It was awesome. We're back on the road. Nate is the man.
I'll put in a word...We are a little bit behind schedule because we were down for 4 hours yesterday waiting on parts. It's going to be tricky dodging the rain on the way home.

Chicago traffic is nuts. Used to drive to Chicago every so often when I was in college. I always found it amusing, that right around where the speed limit dropped down to 55 mph as we entered Chicago (Dan Ryan Expressway?), everyone sped up to ~80mphDriving a heavy duty truck and trailer through Chicago is exciting. Finally made it to our destination.
