Been saying for ages; I don't care which, just pick one and be done with it.

Senate voted to stay on DST year round last year. Would've begun this year. Never went to the House 🤬

Considering that the origin of DST was based on outmoded crap, due to an observation written as satire by Ben Franklin; It makes the practice even more annoying (as the link states, Ben Franklin didn't exactly invent DST. But the satire was the inspiration).

Unpopular opinion here

But I really like daylight savings time

The world would be a different place without social media, for better or worse. Both my kids are excellent students so I can't complain too much but I'd love it if they would read more. I've built an excellent library over the years and though it continues to be a work in progress, the only one in my household that appreciates it is me currently. I couldn't get enough of books as a lad and I consumed everything I could get my hands on, even encyclopedias.

It's hard for me to imagine that social media usage isn't having a negative impact on overall literacy.

I'm struggling to decide if I should renew my membership in a gun club. It's a fantastic place, lots of different ranges to shoot at, and pretty hard to get into - you really have to know someone. A fairly easy 45-minute drive to get there, which is actually pretty good for Atlanta...

The problem is that it's $400/year, and I've shot twice this year. I'm not sure I'll be shooting more over the next few years. I just have a lot of things that seem to rise higher in priority. Guns have been a huge part of my life for years, but for the past 15 years I've been much more of a collector than a shooter. Family, work, work around the house, volunteering in my community, all seem to push shooting down the list. Taking most of a day to shoot always seems like I'm stealing time from my family. I don't know if that will change anytime soon. Perhaps when I retire I'll shoot more, but that's at least 7 years away.

I can afford the money, but I'm not sure if it's a good investment. Sigh. Life used to be so easy when I was a young man.

Is there a range closer that you can just pay to shoot once in awhile? It won't be as nice as a good club, but it will work to keep your skills sharp.

I occasionally go to a range with friends, but I'm lucky enough to be able to set up in the country and shoot anytime.

You're going to have to change your name to AR-LessTrvlr if you don't renew.
