Awesome finds! Those old baseball articles would be cool to have in a frame, were you able to save them? This isn’t a real old house, it was built in 1951 so I’m not expecting much beyond the newspapers as I get further into the demo but it’s still cool to take a break and look through them.

No, I didn’t get to have them, my Uncles upon hearing about it swooped in and took them all. Whatever happened to them nowadays is long gone to the past. But it was cool to see and read them, plus the advertisements and prices from those days was a hoot to see too. They were a bit musty smelling, but in really good condition from what I remember.

Cats are a trip.

I've had my cat for 7 years. She's a Gatesville, Texas cat. Snatched as a kitten and sold at pet smart.

For the first time in 7 years. She finally snuggled up and slept on my chest last night.

This isn't some regular cat. When the Good Lord made her. He put in a double dose of Cat. Stinky fat cat.

I let her out in the backyard in the mornings. So she can love on the birds. You know, hug and squeeze em, George...type deal.

Now, if I could only understand why she only takes a crap inside. Litter box. She could be outside for a couple hours. Way back in the yard. But once she needs to take a dump. She'll run back inside and will blow the place up. Giving me a look, "Hey, I left a nugget for You".

What a complete, no good, stinky, murderous, fat, black, feline... Cat.

She's getting older and it was cold last night...

Are you going to finish that sentence?

Jo, getting ready to send it from another state.

*NJ residents have no idea what I'm talking about, as they can't be trusted to pump their own gas.

Up until recently, that was Oregon too. Self serve gas is awesome - no more lines, no more waiting for an overworked (or very unmotivated) attendant. I just pull up, get my gas and leave. I LOVE it!

Surprises me though at the number of folks here who hate the self-serve option, there's even an effort underway to repeal the measure that allows us to pump our own fuel - blows my mind.
