The Mecum Kissimmee Auction is this time of year (1/2/24-1/13/24)

So many fabulous cars and (even some) trucks going up on the auction block. Car collecting is way out of my league but I enjoy perusing the auction catalogs.

Just one rare example set for next Thursday 1/11... A 1963 Corvette Z06 split window coupe (Tanker) @No Reserve with an auction estimate of ~$900K to $1M.

I did sell one of my old Ford trucks today.

I hope it serves the new owner well.

I know it won't. It's a Ford. It costs about $2,000 a year just to keep one on the road.

But it doesn't hurt to hope.

Unrelated, my other F-450 stopped running the other day for no reason. I've got a guy coming out tomorrow to look at it.

I love how moose travel my trail and 1 1/2 mile driveway to the cabin. When the snow is really deep and fresh with branches hanging down, I can usually follow moose tracks to stay where I need to be. This one came all the way up the drive to the cabin. They like it after I snowmachine in as it packs it down a little to make it easier to walk.
