It is pretty, but I am sick of it! We are 50” above normal in Anchorage. Only 4 more months of snow!
I ran a snowblower for 6 hrs today and will do the same tomorrow. At least at the cabin it is beautiful and no people for miles. Occasionally wolves visit when I am doing chores, which is always cool.

Texas is doing away with inspection stickers in 2025!!!

What does this mean? If I can last until 2025. I won't have to buy a $700 windshield with a hairline crack from a rock chip. You see, this is a heads up display windshield. One of the most expensive sheets of glass GM makes.

If I outlaw it until 2025. I'm free and clear. Then and only then, will I replace my windshield. Why? Because I hate from the pit of my stomach being told to do something by government idiots. It's just principal.

I understand your feelings, but living where there are no inspections at all is eye opening. I have seen windshields with duct tape all over them (not just cars needing special orders), all sorts of dangerous crap, and almost nobody knows what ‘adjusted’ headlights are. Just saying that idiots ruin it for the rest.

For you, buying CNC machines and such from auction outlets makes sense because you are a brilliant machinist but buying vehicles the same way from surplus auctioning entities, specially from rougher climate locales, is not such a good idea. I don't know much about many things but when it comes to vehicles, I know a thing or two about how to buy/not to buy. Call this an accumulated experience from getting shafted so many times in the past!

I got to add “hooved” in the face once. One for the “That was dumb file…”

I hated it also. Right on the bridge of the nose too. Straightened my nose back out from being hit previously to. Saved on doctors bills.

Friends got a kick out of it. They apparently do not hate when I get hit in the face. If I’m being honest now I looked pretty pitiful for a few weeks.

To make matters worse; the owner of the horse was a real looker and in the arena at the time. Horsemanship is usually my means to impress the ladies. I don’t falter there often.

A month ago my daughter had to move back home, because adulting is hard, and she brought her dog and TWO cats. Her dog is fine, I like him, and he’s basically my dog now.
Her cats, not so much.
I never really ‘got’ cats but now I can safely say I really REALLY dislike cats.
So since I’m not allowed to say that around the house I’ll say it here.
