Bent over to pick up an dropped allen key and got eh worst pain I've experiences in quite a while. Struck out of nowhere and very severe. Could hardly walk or even breath,

Hog treachery... 😬 That was me, sorry. Wasn't trying to make extra work for you. I actually didn't see the result after I posted, I was taking some hardware to our other office, and when I got back the thread was gone. So sorry.

Sorry to hear about your back! I know that pain all too well, sounds like sciatic nerve. I hope you're not spasming now as a result, that makes it SO much worse.! ☹️ ETA - Percocet and cyclobenzaprine is what I use for this, so sounds like you're set there.

Hate when that happens, and makes no sense that a simple move could cause pain like that out of nowhere. Has happened a few times to me over the years, and each time there was no heavy lifting or straining at all...just moving. Hope you get over it quick!
 
IIRC, you do or did suffer from sciatica (sciatic) pain? Sudden shooting (radiating) pains like this could be because of a trapped nerve which could also find relief faster than the kind that starts slowly but gradually morphs into the whole darn back locking up pretty severely. I don't wish either on you specially the latter!

Well, we weren't even close! :oops: I am really surprised TBH! The first ~70 or so went in the first minute, but it slowed way down after that. Shocked!

If you have any questions about Back Pain, let me know, I will be happy to give you some advice.

Back Pain was the main factor in my Retirement from the Military after 22 years. I had a Laminectomy, and a couple of years later a Fusion surgery (Titanium cage inserted)

I know a few things about the Back. S-1, S-4, L1, L4 etc. It's Horrific. But as of this writing I am relatively "Pain Free"

Looks like the first 60 posts were in under a minute, but as of 46 minutes after the hour, still hadn’t hit 100 posts yet.

Aside from the folks who might think the preorder would stay open for a week (they should know better this time), whoever wanted a K20 should have had the opportunity to get one.

Yeah, looks like. My brother and a guy I work with are both interested, but can't decide. I told both they might not have much time to decide after this afternoon, but looks like i was wrong.

I am so sorry to hear this.
Years ago in my shop one of the customers sneezed while standing awkwardly and we ended up having to call an ambulance for them........back problems can be crazy.
I hope you feel better quickly and painlessly.🙏:)

I got up from sitting on the tub while my then-4 year old was brushing his teeth and threw my back out for a month. Couldn’t sit stand or lie down.
