When I graduated college in 1974, I drove a taxi for a few months before finding other employment. When you picked up hookers on the stroll after their shift was over and they were going wherever, you'd be pretty shocked and skeeved to see where they pulled money from to pay the fare.

On a similar note, when I began my LE career, I was doing UC in topless joints run by the mob and 1% motorcycle gangs. Personally, I always found those places depressing.

There's a lot seamy stuff that goes on in the world.

I think strip clubs and casinos are depressing for the exact same reason and won't patronize either.
