Sheesh
I didn't even realize it was Friday. Sleep schedule is all sorts of crazy with the baby now
Don’t worry. I can tell you from experience that your sleep schedule should improve in about 20 years. If your child came with a how to booklet, or you’re naturally a stellar parent that’ll raise a great human being you can reduce that number to 16-18 years- unless you’re the type that worries.
Good, you’re not the type that worries, that’s an excellent trait for a parent. Too bad that you just brought the most important thing that’ll ever touch this planet into existence, because you’ve just become the type that worries. That’s okay though, it means that you’ll plan, scheme, nurture, and provide for this living miracle for all the days of your life- there is one downside though, that thing that you call a sleep schedule is nothing but a memory of great days of rolling over on a Saturday morning and going back to sleep, and like that Saturday, it’s gone.
You don’t need as much sleep as you’d think and the lack of sleep will actually bring clarity to other parts in your life. You probably thought that walking into a room, then back out, mumbling something incoherently, then walking back into a room was a sign of old age, like constantly forgetting what you walked into that room 7 times for was, and just standing in place for a moment totally lost, or dropping stuff so often that the constant bending over gives you a bad back, a back pain so bad that you actually go to the Dr ( like old people do ) who will suggest that you buy a pair of New Balance shoes that have a strangely orthopedic look to them. Once you slip into those NB shoes you’ll understand so much more about the dads that came before you, maybe your old man, or your uncles, the lost guy at the mall, even the group of guys that never met before they were all sitting outside of a store at the mall waiting for their Wives and children discussing fox body mustangs to kill the time and try to stay awake through the tremendous sleep deprivation. You’ll realize then that those guys were just sleep deprived dads and that understanding means that you’ve also reached the state of fatherly nirvana.
I’m happy to extend an early welcome to you.
FYI The new balance 680’s still look somewhat athletic
